Jalinga Tea Estate

Jalinga Naturorganic Tea, as the name suggests, is a natural organic tea produce in West Jalinga Tea estate, Assam, India utilising a true form of Environmental Technology in the name of Rational Farming of Inhana Biotech. The term naturorganic can be interpreted as naturally organic since at the same time it is both natural and organic CTC tea producing garden in India. K. Manibhai & Co., the group to whom this garden belongs, take pride not as the largest this with the use of a novel technology which allowed them to remove the

chemical toxicity from the tea plants in the shortest period of two years in the most economical manner. Thus they have been the pioneers in showing a new path not only to the entire tea industry but to the agricultural world in general.

When over 99% of all food production is under chemical farming and organic farming is treated as an expensive, uneconomical and holistic method of farming, the conversion of Jalinga Tea Estate to 'Naturorganic garden was done with an objective to disprove all the above myths. The Rational Farming technology, provided by Inhana Biotech, a research organisation of Kolkata, allowed Jalinga to reactivate the self nourishment and Self-defense quality of the plants system which had become deactivated due to the excessive use of chemical inputs. Inhana Biotech provided various potentised and energised herbal extracts as a part of their technology which have been used to effectively control various pests and fungal diseases. These solutions energised the tea plants to draw its nourishments primarily from the atmosphere and qualitatively from the soil. Since the process stimulates the plant to work in its natural manner, nothing was needed to be added to the plant in the from of micronutrients or macronutrients such as potash, phosphate and nitrogen.

Thus the process is radically different from other organic farming methods and surely more natural. Hence the teas produced under this technology are called Naturorganic. Thus Jalinga teas are pure, energized and natural teas. But more importantly they are produces in the most economical manner. Today India produces about 3.5 million kg.
